Thanks to all of you who attended our general meeting and pot luck lunch at the Ocala show! It was the biggest turnout we’ve had for a meeting in a long time and it was great to see members socializing and getting to know each other better.
MFGRC Specialty
Entries close Wednesday (Nov. 23) at noon ET for our annual Specialty, which will be held Friday, Dec. 16, in Orlando. The premium is here.
Christmas Party/General Meeting
Our final general meeting of 2016 will be our annual Christmas Party. At this meeting, we’ll install the officers and board members for 2017 and celebrate a fun and successful year for the club.
We ask that everyone please bring a side dish (we’ll provide main courses) and also please bring a gift for the gift exchange! (does not have to be dog-related)

Membership Renewals
Membership renewals for 2017 are now due. Rates will remain the same – $25 for individual, family or associate membership categories.

If you will be attending the Christmas party, you can bring your check to Dee there. Also, people who have become club members in November do not have to renew for 2017; their membership will carry over.
MFGRC Title Rosettes
If your Golden earned any kind of AKC title in 2016, MFGRC will recognize that title with a special club rosette. Please send information on the title earned (type of title, location, date, and your dog’s name) to Ann Rowe (magikgldn1@aol.com) as soon as possible. The cutoff date for events is Nov. 20, and any titles won in the rest of 2016 will be recognized in 2017.
