The Mid-Florida Golden Retriever Club is holding a 50/50 raffle with proceeds to be donated to the Smiling Blue Skies Canine Cancer fund. The club will be matching the money raised.
The club will be selling tickets at the upcoming hunt test, Specialty and Christmas party.

The Mid-Florida Golden Retriever Club will hold a general meeting and pot luck lunch on Saturday, Nov. 18, at the Ocala show. Goldens show at 1 p.m. in Ring 1 and the club meeting will start immediately after (approximately 3 p.m.).
After the meeting, Rosa Blair, who is a certified master groomer, will give a demonstration of grooming the tails of Golden Retrievers and will be available to answer any questions club members may have.

Our hunt test is coming up next month, Friday – Sunday, December 8 -10, at the Golden Oaks Ranch near Clermont, Fla.
Once again we need volunteers.
The entry premium is now available for the Mid-Florida Golden Retriever Club’s annual Specialty, which will be held on Friday, December 15, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.
Spectators are welcomed to attend the event, which will begin at 8 a.m. ET and continue for most of the day.
Judges for this year’s event will be Ann F. Yuhasz of Newbury, Ohio, for Regular and Non-Regular Classes and Junior Showmanship Competition and Kellie N. Dahlberg of University Park, Fla., for Sweepstakes & Veteran Sweepstakes.

All members of the Mid-Florida Golden Retriever Club who earn new titles for their dogs during calendar year 2017 are eligible to receive a new title rosette from the club. The rosettes will be similar to this one from 2016:
If your dog has won a new title in 2017, please email the full name of the dog and what the title earned was to MFGRC vice president Ann Rowe. Ann will order the rosettes later this year and make them available for pickup early next year.
